Hello, I'm Tobias and I'm responsible for the CaRaMeL team at Unite. The team manages and develops our sales-side CRM. We are looking for a working student (Bachelor/Master degree). As an integral part of the agile team, you will take on tasks independently.
An experienced mentor will assist you during your time with us and will be available to answer your questions. Since the team works in both Munich and Köthen, only these two locations are available for a student trainee position.
An office presence is necessary, especially at the beginning, but later you can switch to a hybrid model.

What you'll do

Own it: You'll grab work packages and independently see them through to completion within the team context. No micro-management here: you'll be in the driver's seat
Agile pro: You'll be an integral part of a cross-functional Scrum team. Agile will not be just a buzzword for you, it'll be your way of working
DevOps in your DNA: You'll be hands-on and jump right into upgrades or maintenance tasks. DevOps isn't just a trend for us, it's a philosophy

What you'll need

LAMP stack maestro: You're proficient in PHP and can navigate MySQL, Postgres, or general SQL databases like a pro. You know how to leverage the Linux operating system to keep the stack running smoothly
Java basics: You've got a foundational understanding of Java. You know your way around variables, loops, and maybe even some Spring Boot action
Team player with a twist: You're open-minded and responsible. We're looking for someone who can work well in a team but also has the initiative to tackle projects independently
Language skills: You're fluent in English or German
