We’re searching for an experienced and dedicated Senior Java Developer to join our team responsible for receiving, routing, tracking, and fulfilling of customers’ orders at Unite. You’ll be working with passionate tech professionals in a collaborative environment on some of our most business-critical software components. If you are proficient in a range of Java technologies, comfortable working with both cloud (AWS) and self-hosted infrastructure, and are looking for a challenging role in a supportive company, then we would like to talk with you!

Your role

Add value: You'll design, develop, and maintain solutions that support our order management and fulfillment processes
Shape our engineering culture: You'll contribute to cross-team initiatives to define architectural guidelines, evaluate new technologies, and establish best practices
Craftsmanship: You'll foster a security-first mindset and ensure robust, reliable, and testable code
Cross-functional collaboration: You'll analyse complex business requirements and work in close cooperation with product to translate them into production-ready code
Create transparency: You'll work with a high degree of autonomy while effectively managing commitments and clarifying expectations with stakeholders and across teams

Your qualifications

Strong background: You have 5+ years’ experience developing scalable web services in Java
Agile mindset: You demonstrate excellent collaboration skills especially in the context of Agile software development and working remotely in distributed teams
Strategic thinking: You have confidence and maturity to maintain and modernize business-critical legacy code
Ownership: You're proficient with DevOps tools and practices and in supporting the operation of highly-available web services
Be on the pulse: You're committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing; you keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies
